NATIONAL CENTER FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION

History of the Center

The National Center for the Development of Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan is a subordinate organization of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan signed the Bologna Declaration in 2010, taking 47th place among the countries participating in the Bologna Process and becoming the first Central Asian state to be recognized as a full member of the European Education Area.

Each participating country undertakes commitments under the mandatory, recommended and optional parameters of the Bologna Process.

The Center was established on August 31, 2012 with the aim of methodological, scientific-methodological, and informational-analytical support for the implementation of the Bologna Process parameters at the national level in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Basis - Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 1118 dated December 7, 2010 'On approval of the State Program for the Development of Education in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2011-2020'.
