NATIONAL CENTER FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION
On May 13, 2025, in Astana, the National Center for the Development of Higher Education, headed by Director Farkhat Shaimuratuly Kuanganov, received a delegation from the Italian Center for Academic Mobility and Recognition of Qualifications CIMEA, headed by Director Luca Lantero. The delegation also included Luca Ferranti, Matteo Testa and Luca Camillacci. During the meeting, CIMEA's digital tools in the field of recognition of qualifications - the WIKI internal information system, the ARDI automatic recognition database and the DiploMe platform based on blockchain technology - were presented. The Kazakh side was represented by Advisor to the Director Amantay Nurmagambetov, Deputy Director Alibek Madibekov, Head of the Department for Internationalization of Higher Education Aitzhan Kulymzhanova and Head of the Academic Recognition Department Roza Baitulegova. The parties discussed cooperation opportunities in the context of transforming higher education in Kazakhstan and creating an International Education Hub in the Greater Eurasian Region, as well as exchanging experience in ensuring the transparency of digitization and recognition procedures for educational documents.
